Take a close look at my quiz team handout sheet. Doesn't it look inviting?
Every week I find a different brain teaser that I put right there so that they have something to do while they are waiting for the quiz to start. My quiz teams look forward to the brain teaser every week.
Not only that, look at the quality of the picture round. Notice how I've put the answers at the bottom. I do this if I think it might be too difficult. The teams simply have to match the answer with the picture but if they get one wrong then they have automatically got two wrong, a great twist.
I spend hours researching interesting quiz questions for the general knowledge round. I don't just pull any question out of a quiz book, that would be boring. Each of my quizzes takes me about 8 hours to make and because of this I usually get a round of applause at the end which makes it all worth while.
